Adults always say, “You’re only young once,” and they’re right, so I try to have fun whenever I can. Some people like sports, art, reading and games … well so do I! Here are some of my favorites:
The Sisters Grimm is about two girls named Sabrina and Daphne Grimm. Sabrina is 11 and Daphne is 7. When the girls were 9 and 5, their parents got kidnapped. The only clue was a blood red hand print on the abandoned family car. After that, they went into the foster care system, bouncing from one mentally deranged person to the next, eventually landing in the hands of their should-be-dead grandmother. With her, they learned that fairy tale characters are real – called Everafters – and that they were the youngest living descendants of famous fairy-tale author, Wilhem Grimm. As they search for their parents, the family solves mysteries with the help of fairy prince, Puck. But an evil group of Everafters, called The Scarlet Hand, are determined to find a way out of Ferryport Landing and don’t care who they have to hurt to do it!
I love these books because they’re funny, scarey and suspenseful. I don’t really have a favorite book – it’s a tie between the 3rd, 7th and 8th. I just like them all!
COMING SOON!! (May 2012)
Whenever I get board and don’t feel like sitting anymore, I get up and play with my hula hoop. I got my first hula hoop last Spring and it’s so much fun! It doesn’t take any batteries or charging or anything like that. It runs on people energy. Here’s a picture of me from last year’s Meridian Entertainment, when I said jokes while hula hooping.
At home, we have a Nintendo Wii and an Xbox. Some of my favorite games are The Legend of Zelda, Mario Kart, Fruit Ninja and Avatar: The Last Airbender, which I haven’t played in a while, but still really like.
